Carbon Electrode 

                   

Carbon electrodes are used in submerged arc furnace applications. Submerged arc furnace operations vary slightly from other electric arc furnace applications. It will bring you more economic benefits to choose and use carbon electrode The carbon electrode has good strength and is hard to be broken, can reduce the oxidation. Using carbon electrode to replace the polluting carbon electrode paste could prompt production volume, improve the alloy quality and lower the power consumption. The main practice standard specification complies to the industrial standard of China:  YB 4088-92 ，YB 4089-92 ，YB 4090-92 ，IEC—1998.

It is mainly used on 6300KV, 12500KV and 25000KV Arc furnace to make Silicon metal, Ferroalloy, and  Titanium Metal.

Our general length of this electrode is around 2400mm.
